He Wei, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference and executive vice chairman of the Central Committee of the agricultural labor party, Jiao Hong, director general of the State Drug Administration and vice chairman of the Central Committee of the agricultural labor party, Kanghong Fujiwara, chairman of Japan's comprehensive agency for drugs and medical devices (PMDA), and Kondo Da, chairman of Japan's excellent medical treatment and honorary chairman of Japan's comprehensive agency for drugs and medical devices, also attended the meeting.

In recent years, the exchanges between China and Japan's drug regulatory agencies and pharmaceutical enterprises have increased day by day, and a number of advanced medical technologies and achievements are also being transformed and implemented. China and Japan have ushered in broader prospects for cooperation. The "2020 China Japan medical and health exchange meeting" carried out thematic reports and heated discussions on hot issues such as the revision of the drug administration law, clinical trial management, real-world data application and post marketing supervision of drugs, deeply interpreted China Japan drug regulatory policies, established a China Japan drug regulatory information exchange platform, and promoted the cooperation between drug regulatory agencies of the two countries and the healthy development of the pharmaceutical industry.

The conference was hosted by China food and drug International Exchange Center, the Central Pharmaceutical Committee and Youth Committee of the agricultural labor party, and supported by the drug examination center of the State Food and Drug Administration and the comprehensive agency of drugs and medical devices in Japan.
Responsible comrades of relevant departments, bureaus and units directly under the State Food and Drug Administration attended the meeting.
